NU VIRGOS

They win hearts instantly, be it with playful smiles or their kind-natured, southern Slavonic personalities. Blessed with great looks, sexy bodies and sweet siren voices, the group has no trouble conquering the charts - along with listeners' hearts - wherever they go. The group's very first song reached the top of the Ukrainian charts in September 2000, one week after its release. Following the second single, this newborn sensation started touring the two vast neighboring countries, barely able to satisfy the musical needs of the 200-million-plus audience.
After a few Ukrainian and Russian awards and a show aired live from St. Petersburg to more than 250 cities, music TV, radio and glossy magazines just couldn't get enough of the three beauties. Both the first and the second CDs of the group, "Endeavour #5" (2001) and the last year's smash "Stop! That's a wrap!" (2003), brought Sony Music in Russia and neighboring countries two of its biggest sellers ever.
By the end of June, besides the 15 CIS markets (starting with Russia and Ukraine), the 2003 Russian album received interest from Israel and Japan. After Billboard's sister publication Music&Media featured Nu Virgos in July as one of the 5 Russian artists most likely to break through internationally, the group has been urged by more and more countries to release some English-language music internationally.
Nu Virgos had to disappoint their local fans and reduce their seemingly endless nationwide tour, in order to go into the studio and re-record their current chart-topping album in English. In July, the group also did a crash course in the Japanese language in order to satisfy a request from Japan to re-record one of their biggest hits in that language.
Two weeks later, MTV added their new domestic video into Hot rotation (50 plays/week), keeping their two previous videos on A-list simultaneously. As two earlier Nu Virgos videos were also being played on MTV, mid-August set a new record in Russia with a Nu Virgos video shown on MTV about every 35 minutes.
In autumn, Nu Virgos visited Japan, which resulted in a number of glossy magazine interviews and photo sessions, appearances on MTV, Fuji TV and other key channels. They also did an extensive photo session for Playboy Japan, appearing across its 2 issues including the 50-year anniversary Playboy issue in November.
Before resuming the touring, Nu Virgos completed work on their international debut album, essentially a compilation of their recent hits, and shot the English version of the sensational "Stop! Stop! Stop!" music video, which was instrumental in launching them to superstardom in their native Ukraine and Russia.
With a number of stadium shows to match their status of Most Popular Group of 2003 and 2004 in Russia, Nu Virgos know exactly how to work the crowd into frenzy. Energizing on stage and seductive in the videos, Nu Virgos will give a potent audiovisual reinforcement to your senses. Be it the music, the dance, or the girls' own personalities, Nu Virgos will raise your spirits better than anything else.
The natural charm, beauty and sweet siren voices of the girls of Nu Virgos - Nadya, Vera and Anya by name - drive every crowd to the verge of insanity wherever they may go. They get on the stage, and that's when the real fun starts!
